Computer dead... Resurected!

Update: Parts came in a day late but my husband had the computer up and running the night of the day they were received. I'm very happy with the new parts and new case (USB ports on the front is awesome). Also the graphics card may not be a gaming card, but it is a high end graphical design card so render times in GIMP are considerably reduced from what they were before.
On the down side, Second Life voice is not working on the machine yet. But hopefully my husband and I'll have it fixed soon. Oh well. One minor malfunction on a wonderful machine is ok with me.

(old entry) Well, the motherboard on my computer has fianily dies. I've had it in there since 2004 and I guess it was about time for it and my processor (got it in 2002) to finaily go to the huge bit bucket in the sky. *sigh*
Oh well, new parts are in the planning list and hopefully my B-day will bring funds for them Untill then, I'm on my husband's computer when he's not using it.

Hope to have new parts within 5-8 days.

Thanks for the offer, but I've talked with family and they say the parts I need are within a b-day gift range. My husband has already scouted the.
After they get here I'm hoping the updated computer will last me till after graduation too.
