Recycled Wire Candy Canes

I spent a day hanging out at my husband's work, helping decorate for Christmas, and in general just making people smile.

One of the things we ended up doing was decorating the tree with various odds and ends, because we had lights, but no other decorations. So, among hanging the dead computer pieces (ram, boards, etc...), orange CAT5 garland, and other oddments, I decided we needed to use another of the dead CAT5 cables for decoration, but stripped of the gray cover first.

These are some of the resulting candy canes that came from the 40ft length of cable. There are more, and some from a 15ft length that was a different color inside, but no photos from them yet.
