Just a little needle holder I made from Reclaimed/rescued leather samples (small bits of leather used to show selections from a seller. These particular sample pieces are over ten years old). I do not know exactly what type of leather this is made from as the paperwork that went with it was lost before I salvaged the samples. The front is a glossy charcoal gray and the back is a shiny black. The diamond is a small scrap from the same piece as the back.
It is stuffed with wool and is great for holding larger needles. The hole in the back piece is for attaching it to a cord, bag or wherever you want to put it.
Dimensions: 1 1/8 inch wide 2 5/8 inch long
Rescued leather is older leather that was sitting around, getting dried out and icky, but which was rescued and revitalized before it rotted away. It is just as good as new leather and has never been used for other projects (though it may have marks from where other projects were cut out beside it and blemished from sitting so long).
If you would like this needle holder, or one like it, note me and we'll work something out.
