Huge Two Ply Skein

This huge skein of two ply yarn was plied from these singles of Malabrigo merino wool, poison colorway.  The foot is for scale, as I used a six foot long cot as a niddy-noddy when skeining it off of my Navajo spindle.  I calculate there to be 598 yards of yarn in the skein, all one continuous piece, and it weighs 16oz. 

This was turned into a crocheted shawl in a design I hadn't made before.
