Eurypterus remipes Cast

Yet another cast that they had me paint at work. This one, as the title says, is a Eurypterus remipes, a type of "sea scorpion" that lived where New York is now, in the Silurian, about 440 million years or so ago.

Cast was originally a creamy tan color of the naked plaster, but a bit of acrylic paint later, and it looks very similar to the real fossils that we have on display. It is roughly (I forgot to measure) 9in long by 5.5in wide
