Ammonite Mask by flufdrax Ammonite Mask by flufdrax
Leather ammonite mask, inspired by some wonderful fossils at the museum where I work.

Overall width is 8inches, including tentacles.

The in progress photo can be found [link]

A better photo is here, now it is no longer off color and blury.

To see what it looks like when worn, go [link]

This mask has gone to an awesome new owner. If you would like one like it, please note me.

Glad you like it. I can see why you think it a bit creepy, though it's not supposed to be that way. O.o

Glad to hear you like it. :)
I understand about the glasses thing, I used to wear them as well. I have made some masks that can be worn with glasses, and could make one again. All it would take is a couple measurements of the glasses themselves, as well as the usual facial measurements. The only issue after that would be the slight extra distance from the eye that wearing the glasses over the mask would produce. Either that, or the center portion could be cut out to allow the glasses to rest on the nose, and the mask might rest slightly on the temples of the glasses. Many possibilities.
